This will be a ticketed event. This event is still free, however space is limited so registration is required.
Who were the people who founded our State of Illinois 200 years ago? What did they dream about? What did they eat? How did they dress? And, most importantly how did they celebrate becoming the 21st state in the United States of America?
Join Ellie of Ellie Presents in Chicago while she takes you to a party in 1818. Sample the food, have your silhouette made, put the 21st star on the flag, dance the dances and hear the music that might have played as all 32,000 of us celebrated statehood.
This is an interactive program. Audience members should expect to participate and mingle with other guests as they would at any party. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Ellie is happy to give costume assistance if asked.
Cost of Admission: $Free
