7:30 am - 10:00 pm


Join us for an all day celebration.

We will start the day with a pancake & sausage breakfast at 7:30AM followed by Patriot Hour with a flag ceremony, proclamation reading and presentation on Illinois history.

  • Lincoln Presenter covering Illinois history from 1818 to 1865
  • State Senator Scott Bennett 1866 to present;
  • State Representative Mike Marron Illinois and the future

Following, a grade school singing group will sing the Illinois state song.

At 11:30 AM, a Christmas Ice Cream Social with Santa will take place. All toys & gifts will be donated needy children.

At 1:00 PM,  a pumpkin pie/apple pie eating contest.

And beginning at 4PM, bands will perform and tribute REO, Dan Fogleburg, etc.

All events are free but a free will donations will be taken up and all profits going to local charity.
