Rockford Peaches Day at City Market

Stars from A League of Their Own and original All-American Girls Professional Baseball League players will greet the crowd from the City Market stage. Look for the International Women’s Baseball Center (IWBC) in the Kids’ Activity Area with hands-on “Baseball in the STEAM Zone” activities presented by Discovery Center interns. The PeachDIVA/PeachDIVADude Booth will feature official 75th Bicentennial items for sale to benefit IWBC – from t-shirts and baseball caps to Rockford Peaches pennants, wristbands and bobblehead dolls. Baseball Coin Banks for a community fundraiser will be handed out by volunteers at the PeachDIVA Booth for the start of a summer campaign to support IWBC. Free to the public.
