Rend Lake Water Festival

2018 marks the 47th year for the Rend Lake Water Festival in downtown Benton, Illinois. The theme for this year’s festival is “Journey Through the Decades” and will be May 2nd to 5th. The Festival will kick off with our nightly carnival off the Benton Public Square. Additional activities include a business scavenger hunt to celebrate National Small Business Week, a family-friendly ‘Slow Glow Bike Ride’ that will go past historical landmarks and our community park, and our annual Little Mister / Little Miss Rend Lake Pageant. The festival will conclude on Saturday with our 1.5 mile Rend Lake Water Festival Parade, followed by live music, activity booths and vendors in Capitol Park.

This event is organized by the Benton / West City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Rend Lake Water Festival Committee.
