What

The Allied Veterans Council of Freeport with the City of Freeport hosts the annual Memorial Day Parade and Courthouse Ceremony. The mile-long parade travels through downtown and passes in review at the courthouse. Immediately after the parade, an approximate hour-long courthouse ceremony program commences and ends with the ringing of the courthouse’s “FREEDOM BELL.”
