Macomb Heritage Days will be held on Thursday, June 21 from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday, June 22 from Noon – 11:00 PM, and Saturday, June 23 from 10:00 AM –11:00 PM.

This will be the 36th annual event. The theme will be “Macomb Celebrates the Illinois Bicentennial.” During Heritage Days many events will take place, including a parade. Parade floates will be designed to commemorate 200 years of Illinois history including a float honoring military veterans. Downtown windows will be decorated in red, white and blue with historical displays related to the theme. All entertainment on stage is free. There will also be a carnival, food and other vendors in Chandler Park and a car show. A committee of community members work the entire year to plan and organize this free, fun event for the community. Macomb is an Amtrak community so travel from Chicago-Macomb-Quincy can be a day trip or overnight destination.
