Lake Forest Symphony: Illinois Bicentennial Concert

On November 10 and 11, the Lake Forest Symphony celebrates the Illinois Bicentennial with works by local Illinois composers. Maestro Vladimir Kulenovic leads the orchestra in works by Augusta Read Thomas, professor at the University of Chicago; Stacy Garrop, professor at Roosevelt University; Tim Corpus, Executive Director of the Lake Forest Symphony; Jim Stephenson, Composer-in-Residence. The concert closes with Debussy’s orchestral masterwork “La Mer”.
