Illinois Bicentennial Flag Day Concert

The Illinois Bicentennial Flag Day Concert will feature the West Suburban Concert Band playing patriotic music as well as music that celebrates our great state. During the playing of the Military Anthem Medley we will hand out flags to all active duty military personnel and veterans in the audience. Members of the Alexander Bradley Burns American Legion Post 80 will be the color guard for the event. The Program will also include the reading of short essays about the American Flag and the history of the Illinois State Flag. The concert starts at 7pm in Fichel Park in Downers Grove and is open to the public
