What

The DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago will host a soft opening of its Illinois Bicentennial Exhibit called “Contributions of African Americans in the Military.”

The exhibit will highlight the contributions of African Americans in the Military and will feature the 8th infantry regiment flag, which is the regimental colors for an all African American militia unit founded in 1870.
