The Trade Faire, which features historic interpreters, shooting matches, and period games. Craftspeople and merchants will sell reproduction period goods. The Colonial Trade Faire is hosted by the Kaskaskia Company, a group that re-enacts the lives and skills of voyagers in the 18th century. Les Amis du Fort de Chartres will sponsor this event, with additional support from Illinois Historic Preservation, part of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
