The Academy of Lifelong Learning at Lincoln Land Community College has partnered with the Illinois State Museum to offer this seminar. Seminar Summary: A popular local historian and writer, Tara McClellan McAndrew will tell us about the wayward way we became a state and how our first lawmakers in Kaskaskia started from scratch in creating state government. Tara will share both facts and humor that emerge from her research.
